URGENT - please contribute to a stocktake of of all regionally significant recreational / tourism cycle routes (off and on road) throughout the country. Submit your routes before 23 March 09 (Monday).

I have implemented the Discussion Forum in the new web site. This Forum will be open to anyone who has an account in the system: CAN Members and Friends of CAN.

I have a request for each one of you CAN Exec and Staff member and other early adopters. Before Sunday, would you please create a forum topic - something you are interested in, or just something fun, for example, "Where would you like to ride to after the CANdo?" or "Does the Government Policy Statement supports the targets of the New Zealand Transport Strategy?"
The website will launch August 30th. It would be good to have some traffic in each area to encourage further discussion. Would you please use the Forum instead of using CAN Exec or other groups to discuss issues that are of interest to the public.
Also, please help me evaluate the Forum. If you have any suggestions, I would be glad to incorporate.

A full day workshop in Christchurch. Very convenient for cycling advocates who will be participating in the CANdo Weekend Workshop (October 3-5). Morning will be allocated to demonstrations of cool features (such as Google Maps applications, Campaigns, Submissions). Afternoon will be allocated to one-on-one work on individual projects. Everyone is welcome to join. We need faciltiators. Travel expenses will be covered for those participating in the CANdo Workshop. Leave your comments to discuss individual projects.
